Luc Andrié (born in 1954, Pretoria.) Andrié spends his childhood and teenagerhood in Mozambique. Works and lives in "La Rusille", Switzerland.

Since early 90's, the artist is a Lecturer at the University of Fine Art, Lausanne (ECAL). His artist practice focuses mostly on painting.

On 2007, come out his first great monograph published Jointly by the Mamco Geneva and FRAC Languedoc Roussillon.

In 2016, he published his book On (Till Schaap editions / Museum of Art Pully) which puts in dialogue the Works of the painter and a series of artistic and theoretical counterpoints. The artist starts a long term project, supported by Pro Helvetia with Mozambican young artists.
